Get your UGLY on for Bingo December 13th

Dig it out from the very back recess of your closet.  It’s the annual UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER contest during the next edition of bingo. Bingo is moved to a new day for December only,  December 13th! See you at Celebration Town Hall. Doors open at 6 PM. SEATING IS ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS!

16th Annual Family Golf Outing

The Corpus Christi Knights of Columbus 16th Annual Family Golf Outing is in the books, and we have pictures!  What a great year. Thank you to all our sponsors and to all the Knights who volunteered to make it a huge success.

2023 Essay Contest is Live!

The 2023 Knights of Columbus Essay Contest is now open. Students in ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth grade can win $50 for writing a 500 to 750 word essay on the topic “Explain how the Church can evangelize in the digital age”.

Our Monthly Awards

It’s been said that to be successful, it takes a village. Each month Council 14132 honors members of that village with the Knight of the Month and Family of the Month awards. This month the Knight of the Month is Ralph Clapper and the Family of the Month is John and Kathy Waclaw.

Have You Paid Your 2023 – 24 Dues?

Dues for the 2023 – 2024 fraternal year are currently due. You are now able to pay your dues online. Any questions on dues should be directed to our worthy Financial Secretary. The Council fraternal year runs from July 1st to June 30th. Dues for a single year are $35 and can be paid through the link below or by contacting the Worthy Financial Secretary, Gary Govanus.

Looking for Volunteers for Special Olympics

Come join the Knights as we help at the Special Olympics Golf competition to be held in December. Help is needed a variety of tasks during the day. You can make it a family event as spouses and children over the age of 15, accompanied by an adult, are welcome to help.

 

 

UGLY SWEATERS RULE! Bingo is December 13th!

Enjoy bingo on December 13th and wear your ugliest Christmas sweater for a chance to win really tacky prizes! Registration is now open Play 18 games for just $10 per person! Bingo is at Celebration Town Hall, 851 Celebration Avenue.

Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 6:00. Refreshments and 50/50 will be available.

2023-24 Essay Contest Winners Announced.

The 2023-24 Knights of Columbus Essay Contest winners have been announced.

This year’s topic is “Explain how the church can evangelize in the digital age.” Each essay was between 500 and 750 words long.

Congratulations to Cory Balasia, Gavin Serianni, Nicholas Connors and Kady McKenna

Each winner will receive a $50 prize from the Knights of Columbus.

Thank you Corpus Christi for Stuffing the Crib

Once again the parishioners of Corpus Christi have stepped up to help those in need. Thank you for making the October Stuff the Crib event a HUGE success. Thanks to your generosity we overloaded the folks at JMJ Life Center with new and gently used baby items that will be put to good use.

17th Annual Golf Outing – Save the Date!

Chairman John Heeney has announced that the contracts have been signed and plans are underway for the 17th annual Corpus Christi Knight of Columbus Family Golf Outing. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 at the Celebration Golf Club. More details will be released as they become available.

The Family Golf Outing is the largest fund raiser of the year for the Knights of Columbus and proceeds are used to support various area charities.

2023 Flavio Della Pupa Scholarship Winner – Victoria Donado!

Congratulations  Victoria Donado,  winner of the 2023 $1000 Flavio Della Pupa Memorial Scholarship!

Ms. Donado will be attending the University of Florida, studying Health Sciences. Her goal is to become an orthodontist.

Each year Council 14132 awards a $1000 scholarship to a member of our Corpus Christi parish who is graduating from high school and plans to continue their education. Congratulations again, Victoria, and thank you to all of our applicants!

Next ONEBlood Drive Dates Announced

The next OneBlood drive sponsored by Corpus Christi Council 14132 will be held on October 21, 2023 in the church parking lot, located at 1050 Celebration Avenue. You can register by clicking the button below.

Family Golf Outing Was a Huge Success and we have pictures!

The 16th annual Corpus Christi Council 14132 Knights of Columbus family golf outing was a huge success. Thanks to everyone who participated, contributed, or volunteered to help put on the event. Tournament Chair John Heeney will take a deep breath and start preparing for next year!

Live! The Knights Meetings are Back Live!

The Corpus Christi Council of the Knights of Columbus holds its business meeting on the second Tuesday of every month. All Knights members with a current membership card are invited to attend. The meetings are held in the Pastoral Center behind Corpus Christi Catholic Church at 1050 Celebration Avenue in Celebration FL. Meetings begin at 7:00.
